“Abstract in Glass” by Nan Phillips is a fun glass sculpture that will bring a sense of playfulness and color to your room. I manipulated shapes, color, and textures, to create a sculpture that stands 26.5" high x 12" wide, and slides easily into a 12" wide x 8.25" deep steel on granite base. I carefully cut and ground each piece of glass in the panel to create a perfectly-fitted puzzle, and then fully fused the pieces together to create a smooth .25” thick background. Additional glass shapes and lines are tack-fused onto the background to create a dimensional abstract sculpture.
